[size=45]The Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday the opening of an investigation into extortion and harassment of a lawyer at the General Authority for Taxation.
[size=45]A statement issued by the inspector's office said today that it has recently spread through the social networking pages a voice recording of a telephone call broadcast by a satellite channel, including the employee of the General Authority for Taxation blackmail and harassment of one of the lawyers during the review of the body.[/size]
[size=45]The statement said that "the Inspector General to form an investigative committee on the subject to investigate in this regard and take the necessary legal action against those who prove his involvement in the blackmail."[/size]
[size=45]The statement added that "the office works to reduce the negative phenomena, which in turn lead to harm to citizens and public funds and activate the reform role in the institutions of the Ministry of Finance."[/size]
