Interior Ministry recommends Diwaniyah police to return 327 million dinars to the state treasury

The Interior Ministry's Inspector General's Office on Wednesday recommended the Diwaniyah Provincial Police Directorate to return two billion and 327 million dinars to the State Treasury, which the Directorate paid as transfer fees to officers and associates in violation of the regulations.
According to a statement issued by the office obtained by the site "al-Ghadeer", "Audit Committee of the Office of the Inspector-General is responsible for tracking the accounts of the Diwaniyah Police Directorate by Inspector General Jamal al-Asadi revealed irregularities in the procedures of disbursement of allocations related to transport costs, (Geographical location) of officers and employees of the Directorate contrary to the regulations and instructions and without legal basis.
