The Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior recommended the Directorate of Muthanna Police Directorate to return the amount of 110 million dinars spent to 13 of its officers contrary to the controls and instructions to the state treasury.
A statement by the Office of the Inspector General said that the recommendation came on the back of the discovery of an audit committee from the Office of the Inspector General of the existence of legal and accounting irregularities in the process of disbursing the allocations of Bachelor of Military Science certificate for 13 officers graduated from the Second Military Reserve School, as this college does not grant a Bachelor degree to its graduates.
