[rtl]Parliamentary Defense: Iraq has the right to cancel the strategic agreement to disavow America from its commitment[/rtl]
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Baghdad / Al-Ghad Press:[rtl]Ali al-Ghanmi, a member of the parliamentary security and defense committee, said on Thursday that the House of Representatives has the right to cancel the strategic agreement with the United States to disavow its commitment to protect Iraq.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Ghanmi said in a statement to "tomorrow press" that "investigations into the bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization is still ongoing with the government," noting that "the investigations did not fully disclose the bodies that targeted the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization and we in the Commission follow-up with intelligence agencies."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the Israeli military leaders announced the targeting of Iranian arms everywhere and they believe that the crowd is one of the Iranian arms so it is not far that Israel is the aggressor against the sovereignty of Iraq."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that "Iraq has the possibility to respond to Israel through the international community and to make a complaint," stressing the need to "have a position for America from these attacks, especially since Iraq has a strategic agreement with them."[/rtl]
[rtl]He explained that "Iraq can cancel the strategic framework agreement, including the United States of its obligations towards the protection of Iraq."[/rtl]
