The meetings of the Iraqi-Jordanian Joint Ministerial Committee started today in the Jordanian capital [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .
The meetings began with a meeting of the technical committee chaired by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce Walid Habib and on the Jordanian side by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply Yusuf Al-Shamali.The meetings of the joint ministerial committee will be held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Minister of Industry and Minerals Dr. Saleh Al-Jubouri and his counterpart Dr. Tariq Al-Hammouri.
Habib stressed the importance of the Jordanian-Iraqi talks, through the work of the joint ministerial committee, in pushing forward bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries.
He explained: "The agenda of the technical committee focuses heavily on strengthening relations between the two countries in all fields, especially economic and trade."
