    [size=45]Journalist and human rights defender Uday Hatem has filed a complaint with the French Justice Ministry against Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi as a French citizen who has a home in France where he has lived for more than two decades and committed crimes against humanity in Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]In his complaint, Uday Hatem said that Abdul Mahdi is a French citizen or has the right of residence and protection in France and thus applies to French laws and should be held accountable as a citizen or resident who committed murder, genocide and serious violations against human rights in another country.[/size]
    [size=45]He added that Iraqi security forces and Popular Mobilization factions, under direct and explicit orders from Abdul Mahdi, committed the most heinous crimes and carried out practices prohibited by international and French laws against demonstrators and unarmed people during the wave of protests that began in early October in central and southern Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that the official statistics issued by the "Human Rights Commission of Iraq" confirmed more than 300 people killed and more than 15 thousand others as well as the arrest and kidnapping of hundreds, and this was also confirmed by the United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) and international organizations such as "Amnesty International And Human Rights Watch.[/size]
    [size=45]Uday Hatem stressed that Adel Abdul Mahdi bears full and direct responsibility for these crimes in his capacity as commander-in-chief of the armed forces as stipulated in the Iraqi constitution in Article (78) of it. He shall manage the Council of Ministers, preside over its meetings and have the right to dismiss ministers, with the approval of the Council of Representatives. ”[/size]
    [size=45]He concluded by saying that French citizenship is granted only after those who are required by the legal department to swear that they believe and apply the great French values, especially with regard to freedom of expression and respect for human rights. Murder, intimidation and collective punishment of Internet interruption, curfew, harassment, harassment and surveillance of phone calls.[/size]
