The deputy of the Al-Fath Alliance, Ahmad Al-Kinani, confirmed on Thursday that the information received through the meeting of some personalities with Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, indicating the completion of the bulk of the new government, while ruling out Allawi's resort to withdrawing from the mandate due to some pressure exerted by the political blocs.
Al-Kanani said in a statement to "Information", that "the withdrawal of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi from the prime minister is unlikely, especially since the man is aware of the challenges of the stage and the obstacles facing him."
He added that "the information available after a number of personalities met with Allawi, indicates that the bulk of the government of the Prime Minister-designate has been completed."
And that "the negotiations will solve all the pressures facing the new prime minister, but the insistence issued by some blocs will create another problem, especially as the Shiite blocs insist on forming an independent, honest government with competent personalities."
