Member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee accused Mahdi Taqi Amerli, political unnamed, of insisting on maintaining the presence of the American occupation in Iraq, stressing that Washington will abandon these figures sooner or later.
And Amerli said, in a statement to "Al-Ahed News" today, Thursday, that "those who defend the American presence in Iraq are weak and the day will come when America will give them up."
He pointed out that "those who take care of the arms of the American occupier have forgotten that America abandoned them when ISIS entered their provinces in 2014," noting that "there are political figures trying to keep the American occupation under the pretext of the danger of ISIS."
