Al-Ahed News - Iraq
Weeks after Iran launched missile strikes at an Iraqi military base hosting American soldiers, the Pentagon announced a new rise in the death toll among its military personnel.
The ministry revealed, in a statement, that the number of American soldiers who had suffered a concussion in the brain as a result of Iran firing rockets at their base in Iraq last month, had increased to 110.
In a statement, the Pentagon said that all the injured were diagnosed with light brain tremors, adding that 77 of them had returned to service.
The statement added that 35 soldiers were transferred to Germany for further evaluation, and 25 of them were subsequently sent to the United States.
