Al-Tamimi said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency ( NINA ): "Al-Zarrafi's apology during the thirty-day period granted to him, according to Article 76, paragraphs two and four of the constitution, is not a failure because he retreated individually and not a failure resulting from a failure to provide the ministerial platform or The cabinet, not even the lack of confidence from Parliament, is a political and diplomatic apology far from failure. "
He added: "We are still in the fifth paragraph of Article 76 of the Constitution, which, in this spirit, allows the President of the Republic to appoint another candidate."
He explained: "The President of the Republic is free to choose him as a successor to Al-Zrafi, as long as the Federal Court's interpretation of No. 29 of 2020 is effective, and he has given the President of the Republic the freedom to choose without committing to the larger bloc."
Al-Tamimi indicated: "The taxpayer who succeeds Zarrafi is the candidate for the last opportunity mentioned in paragraph 5 of Article 76 of the Constitution, and if he fails, the administration of the country will be transferred to the President of the Republic in accordance with constitutional Article 81. / End 3[/rtl]
