Head of the Parliamentary Services Committee, Walid Al-Sahlani, stressed the continuation of memoranda of understanding between China and Iraq on attracting Chinese companies, noting that the attracting of Chinese companies has been postponed for a certain period until the eradication of the Corona virus pandemic.
Al-Sahlani said, in a statement to “Al-Ahed News” today, Saturday, that “the memoranda of understanding and the China-Iraq agreement are still standing between the two parties.”
He pointed out that the Corona pandemic has delayed the arrival of Chinese companies in Iraq, pointing out that "the coming months will see Iraq prosper in all fields, including the issue of arming the Iraqi army away from the United States of America."
