[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Ministry of Trade announced that the problem of financial allocations to the ministry may be resolved this week.
The ministry stated in a statement that the Iraqi National News Agency ( NINA ) received a copy of it that: The measures taken by the ministry and the state of coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the Economic Ministerial Council had settled the file of financial allocations for trade and prepared a plan to distribute the ration card items in the coming days.
He added: Sums of money were obtained for the purpose of securing the ration card items, which include sugar and oil from national origins and rice, through contracts according to memoranda of understanding concluded with international origins, while the flour processing that was prepared for the sixth meal continues while work continues to prepare a new meal from this article.
The statement stated: The Ministry did not obtain sufficient financial allocations during the past months, which caused instability in the distribution of ration card materials despite the urgent need as a result of the outbreak of the Corona virus, and the reason was related to the economic crisis that Iraq and the world went through, low oil prices, and the lack of cash flow.
The ministry indicated in its statement that: The broad move that the Ministry of Commerce undertook, whether through the Economic Ministerial Council, the Prime Minister’s office, or coordination with the Ministry of Finance, contributed to launching allocations to the ministry in a way that provides the ministry with allocations that allow it to purchase foodstuffs through the use of procurement mechanisms in coordination With the Ministry of Finance, the
