US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed that his country will respond to the attack that targeted the Ain Al-Assad base at the time and place it wanted.
In a comment on the recent attack on the international coalition against ISIS at Ain Al-Assad base in Iraq, Austin said, "We know who is responsible for the attack, but we want to make sure to respond to it," he said.
Last Wednesday, the base, in which US, British and Danish forces are stationed, was attacked by at least ten missiles, which, according to the Pentagon, resulted in the death of an American contractor after a heart attack he suffered during the attack.
