Committee member Fadel Al-Fatlawi said in a press interview, "The committee will read the retirement and social security law the second reading after completing the reading of the budget law." It has been studied in all respects. "
He declared, "The number of the unemployed in the country will reach about 15 million, most of them youth," expressing his hope that "the next few years will witness the implementation of workshops with the relevant ministries to create job opportunities for the unemployed to reduce the high unemployment rates."
Al-Fatlawi pointed out that "the committee rejects any reduction in social welfare allocations in the 2021 budget," noting that "the reduction will affect the lives of those included in the Ministry of Labor's inclusion database, which includes thousands of needy families and the segment of widows and divorced women."
He noted that "the committee supports these groups financially through the social protection network."
