A member of the Crisis Cell, Hassan Khatti, told Al-Furat News, "In my opinion, we do not need a comprehensive and partial curfew, in estimating cases and in estimating the chain of transmission, which is an indirect method, to push people in two directions, the first is to adhere to preventive measures and the second is not to establish gatherings."
"Imposing a ban is not a medical method, that there are lines of cars and people waiting in places, and this sometimes helps the transmission of infection because there is no commitment to preventive measures at the personal level, so this is an urgent method that we resort to," Al-Khatti added.
It is noteworthy that the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety held a meeting today, Sunday, regarding the epidemiological situation in the country with the high rates of infection with the Coronavirus.
"The committee will discuss the appropriate measures for the blessed month of Ramadan, and all possibilities are open, including a comprehensive ban," a senior source in the committee said.
