    Baghdad - IQ,

President of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Arshad Al-Salhi, said on Wednesday (April 28, 2021) that the agreement between the Ministry of Electricity and the companies "Qiwan" and "Car" led to a reduction in the hours of electricity supply in the province. In a statement received by IQ NEWS , Al-Salhi said that he addressed the “Prime Minister’s office after the media reported the news of the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Electricity and the Kiwan and Car companies with the aim of equipping the national network for the governorates of Kirkuk, Nineveh and Salah al-Din.” And that "the concluded agreement led to a reduction in the share of Kirkuk incoming to it from the Mansuriya / Diyala / Kirkuk line, which increased the hours of cutting and its negative impact on the citizens of Kirkuk and their continuous suffering for a year, and an increase in the hours of electricity outages for more than 15 hours per day with the increase in the price of one ampere for generators." The eligibility for ten thousand dinars, and the inability of the Ministry of Oil to supply subsidized kerosene. "

He added, "The continued marginalization and injustice of the citizens of Kirkuk and the failure to hear the voice of its representatives and management will increase the citizen’s suffering and threaten the security, safety and stability of the province." Their entitlement, their injustice and the exacerbation of their daily suffering. "

Al-Salhi called on the Prime Minister’s Office to “instruct the Ministries of Electricity and Oil to consider Kirkuk governorate’s entitlement to the national grid (electricity), and to put an end to what Kirkuk’s citizens suffer from power outages and the high ampere price for private generators.”
