    , today, Sunday, the Parliamentary Labor and Social Affairs Committee identified the reasons for the delay in launching the new meal of the salaries of those covered by social care, while the Ministry of Labor gave until the first of next July, to launch the online portal.
    A member of the committee, Sattar Al-Attabi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "there is a great conflict in determining the launch of the new meal of people covered by social care."
    Al-Atabi added, "The lack of specification of the numbers, as well as the inaccuracy of determining the money led to its postponement, and we are still waiting for the launch of this meal as there are no convincing reasons for delaying it until now," stressing that "the committee may resort to investigation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs if it is not released." This meal. "
    He pointed out that "there are many names that have been visited by researchers and their data has been updated and adjusted, but unfortunately, until now, the ministry is not ready to launch this meal," adding: "We will give enough space for the ministry to announce the names and we will follow up on the matter."
    And he warned, "If the issue is procrastinated, the committee will resort to investigating it, because the year is close to half of it and the meal has not been launched, in addition to that the issue of opening the electronic portal has stumbled greatly."
    He stated, "Although there is a difference in the amounts that have been identified, but the funds exist and have been identified for these families," calling on the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to "accelerate the launch of the meal for the families researched, as well as accelerate the launch of the electronic portal so that the largest possible number is included."
    He explained, "The allocation of funds was intended to include the largest number of families, especially in light of the Corona pandemic, to alleviate the pressure on these families who lack daily sustenance."
    He concluded by saying: "We will give the ministry a period not exceeding the first of July, if it is not decided to open the electronic portal and launch the meal, we will start an investigation."
