On Sunday, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Rasoul Radi, called on Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to invest in the Chinese agreement to establish electric power plants instead of relying on secondary countries .
Radi said, "The electricity crisis in Iraq has become an internal and external political crisis," noting that "the only solution to get rid of the electricity crisis is the arrival of Chinese companies ."
He stressed the need for "the government to expand its steps towards China to solve the electricity problem," noting that "the internal and external political interference has become burdensome to the electricity file in one way or another ."
Radi accused the United States of "obstructing the electricity file in Iraq over the past years and over the successive governments."
