The Directorate of Diyala General Company for Electrical Industries announced, on Monday, its endeavor to increase the production of electrical transformers from 500 to 1,000 transformers per month.
The director of Diyala State Company, Engineer Abdul Sattar Al-Janabi, told the official news agency, "The company is one of the important and sober companies, and it contains seven laboratories, including the distribution transformer laboratory, the power transformer laboratory, the electrical metrology laboratory and the irons laboratory. These laboratories continue to produce and their production is very good in terms of quantity and quality." He pointed out that "production in the factories of mugs, fans and argon is currently suspended, and its production is zero."
He added, "The power transformers factory is currently producing 500 transformers per month, and to increase the demand for them by the Ministry of Electricity, the company seeks to increase production to 1000 transformers per month, but it needs financial allocations."
Al-Janabi continued, "The Ministry of Electricity owes 70 billion dinars to the account of the Electric Industries Company, along with the Ministry of Water Resources. In the event of paying off debts, the company will be able to achieve an increase in production." Ended 29/R77
