    [size=45]Director of the Erbil Investment Council, Saman Arib, said today in an interview that a representative of the Chinese company signed an agreement with the Ministry of Municipality and Tourism in the Kurdistan Regional Government earlier this week to receive a land of two thousand acres for the project.[/size]
    [size=45]"The project's budget is estimated at about $5 billion, and it will be implemented in different phases," he added, noting that the agreement obligates the implementing agencies to use the local workforce in all phases of the project.[/size]
    [size=45]The Kurdish official stressed that this project will contribute to revitalizing domestic tourism, industry and trade, and could promote additional foreign investments in the future, because it highlights stability and a positive atmosphere in the region.[/size]
    [size=45]According to the information received, the land allocated for the project is located on the main highway linking Erbil with Dohuk.[/size]
    [size=45]The project includes the construction of dozens of international hotels, restaurants, parks, artificial lakes, residential complexes, commercial centers, shopping centers, hospitals and schools.[/size]
