Al-Kazemi’s government sets the date for announcing the names of those eligible for the “Dari” project
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi identified, on Tuesday, the media center for the names of those eligible in the "Dari" initiative for distributing residential plots.
Cabinet spokesman Hassan Nazim said in a press conference, after the government's weekly session, that "the Ministry of Construction and Housing has started sending text messages to applicants for the Dari project."
He explained, "The scrutiny of the transactions of applicants for the Dari project began in Baghdad, Nineveh, Diyala, Karbala, and Muthanna," noting that "the announcement of the names of those entitled will be within three weeks."
On July 7, the Iraqi government decided to distribute 550,000 residential plots of land to citizens and give them loans to reduce the housing crisis in the country, as part of an initiative called "Dari".
According to official figures, Iraq needs about 3.5 million housing units to contain the country's housing crisis.
