The Ministry of Oil announced, on Sunday, the leadership operations meeting to follow up the supply of fuel for citizens, electric power plants, government institutions and the private sector.
A statement by the ministry, Mawazine News, received a copy of it, quoting the Undersecretary for Distribution Affairs, Hamid Younis, as saying, “We stress the need for field follow-up by the concerned departments and the competent committees in order to achieve high flow in the processing of oil derivatives of all kinds among citizens, especially the white oil that The Ministry started preparing it for citizens according to the prescribed quotas, based on the fuel card.
He added, "A number of topics included in the meeting's agenda were also discussed, including equipping electric power stations with types of fuel and according to the fuel plan, and distributing kerosene to government and private generators according to the prescribed quotas, and appropriate decisions and measures were taken."
The meeting was attended by the directors working for the companies, concerned departments and the media office in the ministry.
It is noteworthy that the supply outlets, the Oil Products Distribution Company, have started to supply citizens with their quotas of white oil at a rate of 100 liters per family, according to the fuel card. Ended 29/R77
