    {Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region revealed today, Saturday, its program for the holidays of the Nativity of Christ and the New Year, stressing that it adopts the system of nurseries to work in all hospitals, health centers and institutions.
    And a statement by the ministry stated, "The ministry announces to citizens and health institutions that the official holiday begins with those days announced by the regional government from the date of December 25 until next January 2, which coincides with the first working day," noting that "for this purpose, hospitals and institutions were assigned to The Ministry of Health said that there should be wards only in order to provide services to citizens and the public interest in accordance with a number of specific instructions.
    The statement explained, "Among these instructions is adherence to preventive measures against the Corona virus by wearing masks and social distancing, staying away from crowds and paying attention to individual hygiene, especially hand washing."
    The instructions also included, "the obligation to vaccinate with the vaccine by citizens in the vaccination centers," noting that "on holidays, all centers will continue to vaccinate with the anti-viral vaccine to receive the citizens who wish to do so."
    The statement indicated that "all emergency departments will be open 24 hours a day, according to the sentinels system, as well as the working hours of hospitals also according to the sentinels system, as well as the outpatient clinics will be open during holidays."
    He added that "the consultations are open 24 hours according to the work schedules determined by the general directorates," noting that "the dialysis centers will be kept open according to the sentinels system that is determined by the general directorates of health."
    As for the emergency teams and the line (122), they will continue their duties and work for 24 hours, and the doctors of the police force set a schedule to determine the teams for the necessary and tourist places, indicating that in times of need, stocks of medicines and medical supplies and laboratories are open in all cities and towns.
    The statement also stressed that "the teams (examination of domestic drinking water, communicable diseases and health control) will continue to follow up their work, stressing that the provision of health services to the displaced in the camps will also continue."
    He pointed out that "the commitment of expert doctors, old residents, mobile, bandaged and health personnel to work will be in accordance with the guard system on holidays," adding that "mobile phone lines for managers, officials and department managers remain open and calls are answered during the holiday."
    The statement concluded by saying that "the follow-up committees in all general directorates and hospitals will continue to monitor the working hours of hospitals and health centers.
