The Jordanian Minister of Energy, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, revealed that "the Kingdom's total imports of Iraqi oil during the past four months amounted to about 1.195 million barrels, at a rate of 9800 barrels per day."

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/size]In a press statement to him, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh indicated that "the Kingdom's imports of Iraqi oil for the month of December amounted to 309670 barrels, at a daily rate of approximately 9,989 barrels per day, pointing out that the total quantities of Iraqi crude oil supplied to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan since the first of September 2021 until On the twenty-eighth of last December, it amounted to 7341941 barrels, which were transported by 4,679 Iraqi and Jordanian tankers from the site of Al-Siniya/Baiji station to the site of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery/Zarqa.
It should be noted that the process of importing Iraqi crude oil comes in implementation of the memorandum of understanding for the supply of crude oil signed between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in January 2021, where the Jordanian side is committed under this memorandum to provide tanker tanks to transport Iraqi crude oil in the Baiji region in Iraq to a refinery Jordan Petroleum is in Zarqa/Jordan, and the tanks are distributed equally between Jordanian and Iraqi companies.
