Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi is scheduled to head to Egypt today, Wednesday, to head the Iraqi delegation participating in the meetings of the 32nd Conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which will be held in Cairo tomorrow, Thursday, and will last for two days.
Al-Halbousi's visit to Cairo will also include his attendance at the fourth conference of the Arab Parliament, with the participation of heads of Arab councils and parliaments, which will start next Saturday.
In the meetings of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which are held under the title of Arab solidarity, the heads of parliaments and legislative councils discuss a number of issues in the Arab region, especially the challenges and political, security and economic developments it faces.
