Today, Wednesday, Al-Rafidain Bank warned its customers against dealing with fake websites that practice fraud and deception against them.
And the bank’s media office stated in a statement, received by the agency, “The Information”, that “fake links and sites have spread on social media, and they practice fraud and extortion against customers by deceiving them to grant advances and loans, taking advantage of the employees’ lack of knowledge of the material and banking procedures.”
He added that "these sites are misleading customers by withdrawing their documents under the pretext of promoting advances and loans," warning against "those practices and not dealing with those who claim to be approved by the bank and being careful with the aim of immunizing customers from these illegal acts in order to limit them and reveal their perpetrators." “.
