Iranian economic activist Ali Reza Sadrzadeh confirmed today, Saturday, that Tehran will participate in the third international investment fair in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, which will last for three days.
Zadeh said, in a statement reported by "IRNA", and seen by the "Information" agency, that "according to the country's economic plans, which are based on expanding trade relations with neighboring countries, Iraq occupies a special place in Iran's economic policy as it is one of Iran's main trading partners."
He added that "the volume of trade exchange between the two countries exceeded $7.5 billion last year, stressing: "There is no doubt that there are great opportunities that can be invested to strengthen trade relations between Iran and Iraq."
Zadeh pointed out that "the International Investment Fair is held every year as the largest financial and economic event in Iraq, in the presence of many investors from different countries, including Turkey, the UAE, Egypt, Iran and Saudi Arabia." End / 25 BC
