    [size=45]A committee of the League of Arab States called on Turkish forces to withdraw from some countries, including Iraq, and stop the construction of dams on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement issued by the Arab Ministerial Committee on Follow-up to Turkish Interventions, received by Al-Mada, stated that “the committee discussed Turkish interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries; and the content of the statements of the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, "The committee affirmed the previous decisions of the Council of the League of Arab States, regarding Turkish interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out, "the illegal presence of Turkish forces in Iraq, Libya and Syria," stressing "the need for Turkey to withdraw its forces immediately and unconditionally."[/size]
    [size=45]The statement called "the Turkish government to cooperate in order to take all measures that would address the operations of sponsoring, recruiting, training and transferring foreign terrorist fighters and mercenaries within the borders of Arab countries."[/size]
    [size=45]The statement continues, "The committee denounced any prejudice to the demographic structure in some Arab areas under the control of Turkish forces, such as northeastern Syria, and the ongoing violations of the sovereignty of some Arab countries."[/size]
    [size=45]And he called on the Turkish government to respect the water rights of Iraq and Syria, and to stop building dams at the headwaters of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.[/size]
