    The Kurdistan Democratic Party confirmed, on Saturday, that its parliamentary bloc will vote on any candidate agreed upon by the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement for the position of prime minister without any hesitation, calling on the leaders of the framework and the movement to expedite the end of the political blockage.
    The party’s deputy, Mahma Khalil, said in a statement to “Information” that “the phone calls made by the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada, with leaders of parties and political blocs, have melted the ice, especially between the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement, which represent the largest bloc in the political process.”
    He added, "The Democratic Party hopes that the leaders of the framework and the current will reach a specific person to be nominated for the presidency of the Council of Ministers as soon as possible and end the current political blockage," stressing that "the Democratic Party will support any candidate agreed upon by the framework and the movement in the parliament without any hesitation."
    The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, had contacts with a number of political parties, including the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, to discuss some important issues for the country. finished/25pm
