    , today, Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Somalia to pay the debts owed in favor of Iraq.

    A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received by Mawazine News, stated that "the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Legal and Multilateral Affairs, Qahtan Taha Khalaf, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Abdi Saeed Musa, on the sidelines of his participation in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in its session. The 48th, which will be held in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

    The statement added, "During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to advance them were discussed, as well as the mechanism of the Somali Republic's payment of the debts owed in favor of Iraq, and the agent invited the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Somalia, as well as the Minister of Finance to visit Iraq and hold talks with Iraqi officials for the purpose of agreement."     Today, Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Somalia to pay the debts incurred in favor of Iraq.
