The Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed al-Jubouri, revealed, on Saturday, the number of projects completed within the budgets of 2019 and 2021, and while he announced the imminent opening of a bridge and a road linking with the Hawally Road, describing it as a huge project at the level of Iraq, he confirmed the escalation of the pace of completion of the Cardiac Surgery and Cancer Hospital project. .
Al-Jubouri told the official news agency, "The Kirkuk governorate's plan for the federal budget for 2019, included more than 690 projects, most of which were completed at an estimated rate of (95%)."
He added, that "
And he added, "The rest of the 2019 budget projects are related to bridges and tunnels, which are coupled with a completion period ranging from two to three years and have reached current completion rates estimated at more than 60%, as well as the Kirkuk-Hawija road project, whose completion rate has reached 70%, and other projects."
He pointed out that "with regard to the 2021 budget, it included 350 projects, some of which were to secure roads, where more than 90% of them were allocated to rural roads in all districts and sub-districts, as well as rehabilitating and securing services for all districts and districts in Kirkuk and the city center, and completing the requirements of partitions." The municipality is inside the city of Kirkuk, in addition to the start of the second phase of the governorate bridge and its tunnel, and the celebration square bridge and its tunnel, which are among the vital projects.
