    On Friday, Representative Hanan Al-Fatlawi revealed the details of the Basra-Aqaba pipeline project, indicating that the pipeline would be paid for by Iraq and owned by Jordan.
    Al-Fatlawi said in a televised interview, which was followed by / the information / the oil pipeline extending from Basra to the Jordanian port of Aqaba will cost the Iraqi state about 9 and a half billion dollars, which will be financed from the state treasury in all its details.
    She added that "several surprising things within the project, the first of which is that the pipeline has the ability to transport 200 thousand barrels to a maximum of one million barrels per day, which is the actual need for Jordan, meaning that most of it will be within the Jordanian domestic consumption in the absence of another buyer."
    And she added, "Iraq will pay 25 cents on each barrel, and the most surprising thing is the delivery and ownership of the pipeline to Jordan after 25 years of starting to export," noting that "the project aims only to serve Jordan without any economic feasibility for Iraq." Ended 25 D
