    Earth News/ Member of the Electricity and Energy Committee, Representative, Suhaila Al-Ajrash, announced today, Monday, that the Electricity and Energy Committee will host the Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim and the advanced cadre in the ministry to review the axes listed on its agenda regarding the electricity file.
    In a statement received by Earth News, during the meeting, Al-Ajrash stressed the "necessity of cooperation between the committee and the Ministry of Electricity to overcome the difficulties facing the citizen," noting that "electricity has become the backbone of life, especially during the summer and work to end all problems to come up with effective solutions to the electrical grid crisis."
    She explained, "During the hosting, we discussed the topics of the Ministry of Electricity's plan and its readiness to face the summer season at the level of production, transmission and distribution in light of the noticeable rise in temperatures, as well as its plan to install the combined cycle for all gas units operating in the electrical system."
    Al-Ajrash indicated, "It was discussed about the file of paying the dues to import gas for the previous years to ensure that the electricity supply is not interrupted, in addition to the project to produce solar energy given its importance."
    For his part, the Minister of Electricity reviewed “the reality that the Ministry is experiencing in the electrical sector in light of the work in accordance with the Financial Management Law 1/12 and the need for financial support,” explaining “the production plan to improve the network and maintenance of electrical units to increase production,” noting “the importance of cooperation in order to reach solutions.” and processors.
    The committee also reviewed "the ministry's projects for electrical units and generation sources through thermal and steam stations for the possibility of transferring and distributing energy between regions, in addition to submitting proposals to cross the crisis."
