    Information/Baghdad:
    Representative of the State of Law coalition, Alia Nassif, confirmed, on Thursday, that the current Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, committed a clear violation of the Federal Court by saying that Parliament is higher than the Federal Court.

    Nassif said in a statement to "Information", that "Al-Halbousi made an explicit mistake during the voting session on the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development by saying that Parliament is higher than the Federal Court," stressing that "the decisions of the Federal Court have constitutional authority and what happened is the establishment of a bad year." It is wrong, and this is not constitutionally permissible.”
    She added, "Whoever wants to build a real state should not override the decisions of the Federal Court."
    Nassif explained, "Our objection to passing the law is not due to the fact that the necessary needs of the citizen cannot be met, because these needs can be secured through the government's revolving amounts of 14 trillion, which are sufficient to meet those needs, in addition to the government's ability to deduct 5% of the emergency funds, which are estimated With 20 trillion, and thus we dispense with the passage of a law originally contrary to the decisions of the Federal Court.”
    Nassif pointed out that "linking the law to the basic needs of the citizen, such as appointments, contracts, electricity, and passing beneficial allocations, is to invoke a popular resentment against everyone who opposes the law." finished / 25 AD
