Shafaq News/ Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail said on Thursday that his ministry is keen on developing the oil industry and optimal investment for gas through joint cooperation with reputable international companies.
This came during his meeting with the Italian ambassador in Baghdad, "Maurizio Carpacanti," according to a statement issued by the ministry today.
The statement said that during the meeting, they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in the oil, gas and energy sector.
For his part, the Italian ambassador expressed his country's desire to consolidate the prospects of joint cooperation with Iraq in various fields, including the oil, gas and energy sector.
