, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Wafaa Muhammad Karim, commented today, Monday, on the possibility of representatives of the Sadrist movement participating in the next government formation, indicating that the political scene needs al-Sadr's blessing.
Karim said in an exclusive interview with "Mawazine News" that "the talk of Mr. Ammar al-Hakim yesterday about the withdrawal of the Sadrist movement is to avoid internal fighting and that he often speaks in this professional way."
He added, "The political scene now needs the blessing of Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr to form a government, and this does not mean that they will ever participate in it, but rather not to inflame the street."
He pointed out that "Mr. al-Sadr warns and refuses the participation of any person belonging to the Sadrist movement in that government, and that the Sadrist movement has not only withdrawn from the political process, but refuses the participation of any of his side in that government." Ended 29/M99
