Baghdad: Rola is confident
The Pharmacists Syndicate revealed that 70 percent of medicines are still not priced, and attributed the reasons for the discrepancy in their prices in pharmacies to the difference in origin, smuggling and rental companies. "The union is taking quick strategic steps to encourage scientific offices to register medicines in the Ministry of Health to prevent cases of smuggling," said the union's spokesman, Dr. Muhammad Sherkhan, noting that 30% of the medicines are registered and priced. He added that 70 percent of the medicines are not priced, but prices have been set for them with a small profit margin, and pharmacies are followed up through the syndicate's inspection teams, and measures are taken against violators.
