    BAGHDAD / NINA / The President of Justice and Accountability Commission
    in the parliament, Qais al-Shather confirmed one last controversial
    point is being discussed with the National Alliance on amending the law
    of accountability and justice, noting that this point is under study at
    the National Alliance after sending several proposals about it.

    He
    told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The Justice and
    Accountability Commission awaits the answer from the National Alliance
    on this point in order to complete the final draft of the amendments to
    the law, to be submitted to the Legal Committee in parliamentary to
    formulates its amendments legally, then submitted it to the Presidency
    of the Council of Representatives" .

    He added: "This point is under discussion and it is not possible to be announced in the media before an agreement reached."

    The
    head of the Justice and Accountability Commission in the parliament,
    Qais al-Shather said earlier: "The amendments proposed to the law of
    accountability and justices have nothing to do with the demonstrators."

    He
    added: "It was agreed on many paragraphs and little is left, expressing
    hope that an agreement reached during the next few days./ End
