    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP Mufeed al-Baldawi of the State of Law Coalition criticized the approval of the Council of Ministers on amending the Accountability & Justice Law, calling to criminalize the Baathists rather than giving them privileges.
    Baldawi said “The Council of Ministers’ decision is inappropriate, so we will not support its ratification at the parliament,” noting “The psychological and morale effects caused by the criminal Baath Party still suffered by the Iraqi people and this decision will offend feelings of millions of people.”
    He stressed “This step intersects with the rights of the victims where many of the collective massacres’ victims are still uncompensated.”
