Al-Halbousi directs the parliament’s committees to host all ministers: some of them are “abusive” who violate the constitution and the law
Shafaq News/ On Wednesday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi directed parliament committees to host all caretaker government ministers, accusing some of them of violating the constitution and the law.
Al-Halbousi said, according to what was published by his media office and received by Shafak News Agency, "I ask the parliamentary committees to start their work to host all the ministers of the caretaker government, each in his committee, because some ministries violated the law, the constitution and all financial and administrative laws because of the parliament's suspension, and we all bear responsibility because The absence of the council’s oversight was abused by some.”
Today, Wednesday, the House of Representatives resumed its work after stopping for several months due to a sit-in by supporters of the Sadrist movement in its building in protest against the nomination of the coordination framework, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, for the position of Prime Minister.
