Al-Kazemi directs to secure the protection of the Iraqi parliament session
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi directed today, Thursday, to secure the necessary protection for the parliament session to choose the President of the Republic, stressing the end of the political crisis.
Al-Kazemi said in a tweet to him on Twitter, "While we support the completion of the constitutional benefits to end the political crisis, we affirm our directives to the leaders of the security services to ensure the full and necessary protection for the parliament session," stressing, "We categorically reject any attempt to obstruct the democratic path."
"We have directed the security services to take all necessary measures to provide security and prevent any attempt to use uncontrolled weapons," he added.
And the fortified Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad, was attacked by nine missiles, which resulted in the injury of more than five people, including soldiers.
This bombing coincides with the approaching session of the Iraqi Parliament to elect the President of the Republic of Iraq.
