Erdogan calls his Iraqi counterpart
Shafaq News/ Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks with his Iraqi counterpart Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, according to what the Presidency of the Republic of Iraq announced today, Saturday.
The presidency stated in a statement today, that during the call, President Erdogan offered his congratulations to President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on his election as President of the Republic, pointing to his country's desire to strengthen historical relations between the two countries and activate constructive bilateral cooperation aimed at achieving stability in the region at the political, economic and security levels. .
For his part, the President of the Republic expressed to the Turkish President his kind congratulations, explaining the importance of relations with neighboring Turkey and the need to strengthen them in various fields in a manner that secures common interests and achieves the aspirations of the two friendly peoples for development and well-being.
