Baghdad-Iraq today:
Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani confirmed that Baghdad is seeking to reach an agreement with Kuwait regarding the mechanism for exploiting the joint oil fields between the two countries.
Abdul-Ghani said in a press statement on the sidelines of the meeting of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries, OAPEC, that “there are joint committees between the two countries to study the mechanism of exploiting the oil fields located in the border areas. "
The minister added, "Iraq hopes to reach an agreement on the exploitation of joint oil fields."
