"The Kingdom stands by Iraq to restore its historical status," bin Farhan said in his speech during the second Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, expressing "his country's desire to continue the process of cooperation with Iraq."

He added, "Saudi Arabia intends to move forward to work to open new horizons with Iraq and support the activation of electrical interconnection projects with Iraq," noting that "his country will spare no effort to support Iraq's economic and development march, and that the Kingdom confirms its total rejection of any aggression on any inch of Iraqi land."
