Today, Saturday, a member of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Sudani, revealed the most prominent draft laws that will be on the parliament’s agenda at the beginning of the second legislative term.
Al-Sudani said in a press interview seen by “Takadum”, that “the most prominent draft laws that will be on the agenda of the House of Representatives at the beginning of the new legislative term is represented by the financial budget, which is supposed to be one of the parliament’s priorities,” calling on the government to “expedite its dispatch; in order to advance its legislation.
He added, “The budget is one of the very important laws. Because it touches the citizen’s need, which has not been legislated for a long time.”
Al-Sudani continued, saying: “The other important law is oil and gas, which must be on the agenda of the upcoming sessions, in addition to the election law.”
And Al-Sudani stated, “Many laws are expected to be approved during the second legislative term, in addition to the laws that were read inside the parliament, first and second reading in the previous legislative term, in order to vote on them.”
