denied the office of the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, the defection of a large number of representatives of the coalition.
Hisham al-Rikabi, director of al-Maliki's office, said in a tweet via Twitter, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "there is no truth to the news of the defection of a large number of representatives of the State of Law and their going to different blocs within the coordination framework, and I wish to be accurate in publishing information from its official sources."
