The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities formed committees to supervise projects implemented in the governorates and to complete and audit some designs.
The Assistant Director of the Engineering Reconstruction Department at the Ministry, Eng. Dr. Muhammad Haidar Al-Sakni, told Al-Sabah: His department, in the framework of its efforts to strengthen the supervisory aspect of projects, has formed specialized engineering and technical committees working with the governorates and investment commissions there, to supervise the projects implemented in them and to complete and audit some designs. Which need that, indicating that this was done according to new contracts concluded with these authorities.
He stressed that the priority of supervision will be for the governorates of Anbar, Salah al-Din and Diyala, given the presence of many stalled projects there and the ministry is seeking to revive them, explaining that the Engineering Reconstruction Department, in the framework of its endeavor to expand its work throughout the country and achieve the best results, also formed a committee to periodically evaluate the work of the department’s departments. through the form prepared for this purpose.
