    Today, Friday, the Directorate of the Social Protection Network in Al-Najaf Governorate announced the launch of a social search campaign for the poorest areas in the province.
    The Director of the Social Protection Department in Najaf, Raed Adnan Al-Ansari, told the official agency, followed by (Al-Oula News): “The Directorate of Social Protection Network in Najaf Governorate launched its campaign in the poorest neighborhoods and districts of the governorate to register those who are not covered by the social protection system within the directives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. .”
    And he added, “And among the poorest areas in Najaf Governorate are: Al-Qadisiyah district, for the fifth day in a row, in which targeting operations are conducted by researchers in the men’s department,” indicating that “all applicants will be targeted in this district, which is one of the most important and poorest districts within the data of the Ministry of Planning.” ".
    And he continued, “Those included in the electronic submission in the Holy Najaf Governorate amounted to 79,563 entries distributed among the districts and sub-districts,” noting that “most of the applicants electronically are from the Holy Najaf district, in which the number of applicants reached 43043, and the Kufa district, and the number of applicants in it reached 14,400, and the Al-Mishkhab district has 5,000 citizens. As for the rest of the districts and sub-districts, from 2000 to 3000 citizens, explaining that “the process of contacting the applicants takes place successively due to the number of applicants and the large number of regions.”
    For his part, the head of the Research Division, Mustafa Hashim Ahmed, explained, “This survey is the largest field survey for applicants to include social assistance through the electronic window, and according to the directives issued by the Ministry, to go to the poorest areas, which began in Al-Qadisiyah district within the work of the Social Protection Department in Najaf.” . 
    And he continued, “The work of the social protection network will be through a field visit to the citizens through the form prepared by the Ministry of Planning (bmt). After that, the researcher fills out the (bmt) form, so that the advanced citizen is entered into the program, and the citizen’s record turns into poverty results. This information is sent from Before the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to the Ministry of Planning, and after that the Ministry of Planning has weights through a planning studio, after which the smart card is issued to citizens. 
    And he stressed: “Citizens must cooperate with the social researcher and provide all correct information and supporting documents in order to be included in social assistance, calling on everyone to report all cases of extortion and to report any case that occurred in the Social Welfare Department in the honorable Najaf.”
