    Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the completion of an audit of more than 39,000 families as part of the social research campaign in the poorest areas on the outskirts of the capital, Baghdad.
    The director of the Social Research Department at the Social Protection Authority, Nadia Abdul-Hussein Saeed, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The number of families that were audited within four days amounted to 39,179 families," noting that "the social research campaign began in the poorest areas." on the outskirts of Baghdad.
    Saeed added, "The first day of the campaign was in the Bob al-Sham area, and the second day in al-Nahrawan, while the third day was in al-Mahmudiya, and the fourth in the Abu Ghraib area," noting that "these areas are the poorest and have higher population and poverty rates than others." .
    And she pointed out, "The number of applicants electronically during the three months from the date of 8/22/2022 to 11/22/2022 to obtain the protection salary throughout Iraq amounted to two million and 700 thousand people, and after intersecting the data and excluding the unworthy persons, the number ready for research became one million and 800." thousand people.” 
    And she emphasized, "With the support of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and the researchers' enthusiasm, the campaign will be completed within a record short period," pointing out, "The ministry has prepared and harnessed, as much as possible, all means of transportation, to transport researchers to remote areas."
    On January 15, the government launched the largest social research operation in the poorest areas.
