Today, Wednesday, the main stock exchanges in the provinces of Baghdad and Diyala witnessed a complete stoppage for the third day in a row, while the dollar exchange rates recorded a slight increase in the local markets.
The (Baghdad Today) correspondent said, “Most of the owners of exchange offices in the local markets in the capital, Baghdad, stopped buying and selling the dollar because of its instability and the suspension of the stock exchange for the third day in a row .”
He added, “The buying and selling prices recorded a slight increase in some exchange shops in the local markets, as the selling price reached 162,000 dinars, while the purchase price reached 159,000 dinars for every 100 dollars.”
Our correspondent indicated that "in the same context, the stock exchange in the local markets in Diyala governorate stopped buying and selling for the third day in a row," noting that "a few money changers recorded an increase in the dollar prices, as the selling price reached 163,000 dinars, while the purchase price reached 159,000 dinars.” per $100.
